There are different branching upgrades that give the sector a variety of benefits.įor the forward base, it's pretty simple.ġ) Move any unit to the center of a sector that is not controlled by anyone.Ģ) an option will pop up to pay a small cost and turn it into an outpost.ģ) Once the outpost is done, you can upgrade it. This exploit turns the sector into an orbital relay, with its center structure becoming the spaceport that stacks can interact with.ģ) Upgrade the sector as desired. Alternately you can release the sector as an independent outpost, or raze the sector.Ģ) starting from an empty sector, once you have the option researched, you should have an new exploit option that looks like a pair of white arrows. ![]() This will take at least 2 turns because you have to remove the upgrade before you can remove the exploit. The process for the sector-based one would be:ġ) If you already have all 4 sectors exploited (production, research, etc), you need to deconstruct all the specializations for one of those sectors, and then remove its exploitation. It should tell you in the tooltips what exactly they unlock. The second one gives you the advanced upgrade options, and unlocks the forward base upgrade. The first one allows you to build orbital sectors and the basic specialization options for it. Not looking at the game right now, but from memory, there are two researches related to orbital relays. ![]() Spell out for me the process to do the two different optionsįor a start do they come as part of the same tech research (note Amazon Celestian for now)Īnd for that matter once I have a FB (Know how to do that thank heavens) Originally posted by neil:Midas (and all others BTW)
